The second quarter of 2022 showcased varied performance trends for the top 5 news and magazines apps on the Android platform in Slovakia. According to Sensor Tower data, here's a closer look at their weekly downloads and active users.

Breaking News: Local & Alerts saw a consistent decline in weekly downloads, starting from 351 at the end of March and dropping to 132 by the end of June. The weekly active users also showed a slight downward trend, decreasing from 886 to 755 over the same period.

Opera News: breaking & local experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at 257 in early June before settling at 198 by the end of the month. The app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations, reaching 2009 at the end of June.
